Ugh, every time I think I'm about to settle in I get the shudders from that...thing.

I thought the one at the zoo was the only one of its kind but--obviously not.

Well. I'm glad we have Sunday to go back. Maybe this time with an extra torch; they seemed not to like fire.

Honestly, I thought the spiders were the grossest thing we'd encounter. Not that I wanted to encounter them! But that? Was way, way worse.

Yeah. I tried charming my eyebrows to re-grow. No luck yet. Maybe I should try to get Lav to help me.

Yeah, it was when it reared up. I think it was less armored on the belly, so the spells we cast did some damage. Not enough to keep it from running away, but I wasn't inclined to try to stop it.

I was also thinking.... Lares likes a bit of a lie-in on Sundays. If we go early enough we might be able to avoid him on our way in.

I still can't believe how smug he sounded when he took 20 points from Slytherin. Honestly, he's being a prat for no good reason.

Well, at least he let us off easier. You poor, misguided Ravenclaw, led into misbehavior by the Gryffindor and Slytherin, no doubt due to (almost) no fault of your own.
