We did it!!

Thanks, both of you, for helping whip everyone into shape. I think if we hadn't added that second early-morning sectional this morning it wouldn't have come off as well as it did (but honestly, the tail needed the extra work!), and having you two both dropping some well-placed comments really made a difference to who came out.

Did you happen to get any of the crepes at that one stall near the Horseguards? There was one with mango and one with raspberries. I could have gone back for another but I didn't dare. Still, it was so nice to be able to celebrate on our own for a while. Too bad we had to leave right after the light show.

Though now that we're back I'm so tired it's hard to hold up the journal. And yet I'm still buzzing with the high from the parade going so well, I don't think I can quite sleep yet.

So. Tour of Leicester tomorrow. Think the weather will hold?

Cheers, Patil. And good show, as well. You really showed leadership, helping pull this sad lot together. Really, you'd think half of them were raised in the camps the way they mill about and pay not the least bit of attention to clear instructions.

I missed the crepes, but had some very fine mead at a stall near the new arch.

Tomorrow should be most interesting. I expect, though, that we'll have some trouble with discipline after today's high point.

I missed the crepes, too - there was just so much going on! I did get a pear tart from somewhere, but some drunken oaf ran into me and I dropped it into the street.

I just saw what Lovegood wrote about the shimmering on the ouroboros being accidental. Does she ever think before she speaks? Or writes, I should say.

I'm ever so tired, too, but I can't stop reading everything people are writing about tonight.

I'm so glad nothing went wrong. I had this moment where I thought back to the Quidditch World Cup, and my heart started beating so fast.... Thank Holda that Auror Crouch and the rest of MLE put an end to those awful Dogstar people!

Moon's one to talk. I suppose he's developed his theory from his own data set.

It wasn't Lovegood who congratulated Daphs on her engagement. That still sets the bar for daft things to write in public places.
