Seamus, what did Professor Sinistra say? Lines, has she said anything to you at all?
Did you see the part about the 'anonymous donor' who made it possible to take 11? Who do you think bribed their way on, then? Maybe Parkinson paid so they'd take Perks, or Peakes bribed her to take Thomas. Or someone gave them money for Weasel--only I dunno who'd sponsor him!
Oh, also? Lines, you already know this but Clearwater's probably going to crack before the end of the week. She just grabbed up all her books and shut herself up in her dormitory and told Edgecombe and Anderson to just handle anything that came up and to leave her alone the rest of the night.
And--this is really important--what should we do about Daphne Greengrass? I mean, I know she broke up with Bole but did you notice how the Slytherins are all treating her like a porcelain doll? I don't want them thinking no one but them can keep her safe from him, you know? She should know that everyone thinks he's a lout. But I don't want her to think everyone knows everything, I mean, she was even too embarrassed to say anything to me and tried to make it sound like I couldn't possibly get it.
What gets me is that she thinks Porkinson does get it? Ugh.

Date: 2012-05-14 04:23 am (UTC)I reckon Parkinson bribed her to take Perks. She has the money AND she'd do it. And that explains why there are FOUR Slytherins as counsellors, doesn't it? It's a shame Greengrass doesn't have a rich best friend to buy her way on.

I mean, with Hufflepuff she probably figured she couldn't look like she was favouring her own house. But I bet Mr Peakes bribed her to take Thomas. I don't think Harry or Draco needed any help, do you? It sure wasn't Bundy's foster-family.
I guess it's possible that one of Weasley's older brothers leaned on Professor Siz to take him. But you'd think they'd be careful about that sort of thing, especially since one of them works for Mr Rosier now.
And I wish you hadn't pulled that stunt with the broom, but more I wish everyone would just get over it, already. It wasn't that dangerous by itself, it just didn't go off the way you planned. Any anyway, if it'd been someone who wasn't on Draco's team, he'd have been laughing just as loud as anyone.
Did you see what Zach wrote to Weasley? I mean, it's kinda funny but it does make it plain why he didn't get a counsellor slot. He doesn't really have any other setting besides obnoxious, does he?
But Greengrass...I really wish there were something we could do for her. I bet I could get Tamblyn to send the Quidditch side after Bole and tell him it's not only Slytherins who are looking out for her. I can't understand why he's so obsessed, anyway. Everyone knows she's just waiting for Auror Crouch to decide she's old enough to be noticed. I'd've thought a taste of Bole would sour her to the bad boy type but I guess some girls just like someone who's a little bit too dangerous for their own good. But at least Auror Crouch is also dashing; Bole's fit but he's a clod when he's not on a broom.
Well, anyway. It's too bad. But there's still CCF, I guess.
