I suppose that business yesterday must make asking someone to the Ball loads more difficult.
It was utterly impossible no one should have seen it happen. And how that one made such a cake out of 'getting caught with your guard down' - I thought it was well rude. Especially since it was obviously Weasley and Perks. I can't believe no one said anything, especially Clearwater. She's useless.
How are we going to get them back for it?

Date: 2011-12-04 05:13 pm (UTC)I don't believe for a minute no one saw, but Weasley -- or Perks, but I reckon Weasley -- was clever enough to pull out his wand while everyone was busy coming into the hall and there was enough noise no one heard him.
I'm going to get back at him, don't worry. He knows it, too, he spent about a half hour last night casting every protection spell he could think of before he went to bed.
I've been thinking about that lecture in Dark Arts we had a month or so back, about cursed objects and how sometimes they have layers of spells -- maybe I can come up with something where whoever Weasley runs to for help will get hit with some nasty jinx as well. Of course I wouldn't want to jinx Madam Pomfrey but there's plenty he goes to Perks and Parkinson for, or his brothers.

Date: 2011-12-05 04:52 pm (UTC)It would be such a shame if someone ruined Perks on the night of the ball. Did you hear someone said she's got a date already but won't say who? I bet it's Crabbe and she's well ashamed to admit it.
Oh. And. Don't tell anyone this, but you know Marvolo asked Chang? Well. She's sort of been a watering pot about it. From what Chambers was telling the Corner last night, she felt like she had to accept, because it's Harry Marvolo, you know, who did the asking. But I don't think he realises that she's been seeing Diggory since a week or so after we got back to school. And she had to tell Diggory she can't go with him because Marvolo asked and she's all in a state over it.
But I don't want Marvolo to think he did anything wrong. He may not have actually known that she and Diggory are together and he's got the right to ask whomever he likes. She doesn't know him well enough to know she could have said 'No.' But now it's done and Diggory's probably taking Bundy or Rohani or someone. There's no use making him feel bad about it. Right?
