Hogsmeade's this weekend, as well, and I just bet half the visitors will have ball dates by the end of the day Saturday.

This is positively the most exciting thing EVER to happen at Hogwarts! The Tournament's well fun, but really unless you're a champion it's not all that consuming is it? Especially with so much time between tasks. But a BALL, well--that's something everyone can enjoy!!

All the same, Patil, if someone is gossiping out of turn among the Prefects and telling students announcements before they're announced, that represents a breach of confidentiality.

It doesn't matter if it's top-secret or not. The point is that it wasn't meant to be out there yet.

It is exciting, isn't it? We all suspected, but an eye-witness report certainly does change things!

Though it doesn't particularly help with my pursuit. I've sent owls to all those magazines, Cut Above and such, but they've not yet got back to me. Oh, it's so hard to be patient, sometimes!

And yes, I'll be staying. It's not every year we get a ball!
