I've been getting to know
some of the girls from Beauxbatons a little - Helene and Claudine and Margaux - and we've decided that while we're glad to be back in lessons, we're not quite ready for hols to be over yet.
So for anyone who's interested, Ravenclaw and Beauxbatons are hosting a get-together tonight up in the large classroom where we held rehearsals for the play last year. Margaux's got music she brought from home and we're cadging together nibbles from holiday and Christmas parcels - but we'd not say no to any other contributions!
And don't forget that History Club still meets on Wednesdays and there's also a new group getting together for Runes every other Thursday.

Private Message to Lana Sandoval
It's too bad they didn't do a 'Best' and 'Worst' dressed for the adults who attended the ball, though; I'm sure you and Mrs Malfoy would have been in the top. It must be ever so exciting to be properly out in society now and go to all the best parties. Dish! says you and Orion held something of your own too and that it was really elegant. Well, of course it would be, but it's amazing to think that just a few years ago you were a student just like us and now you're hosting your own salons and you're going to be married and I'm sure you're still tops in your cohort and it's just so inspiring, Lana, really.
Are you going to the Frost Faire this year again? Everyone says it's going to be amazing. It'll be nift to see the pictures even if we've got ages now before we've got any more time off lessons.
Have you and Ned set a date yet? It's got to be well nerve-wracking, trying to juggle wedding plans and Auror training and everything else. I can imagine you might want to finish up training before you even think about the wedding - but then again you might be so happy about it that you can't wait to work out all the details!
Well, I hope you write soon about everything you're doing. It's always so good to see you doing Ravenclaw proud!
Re: Private Message to Lana Sandoval
I did like my robes for the ball. And thought our old school did itself proud, hosting that event. It was every bit as well staged as this year's St Mungo's gala. Are you fourth or fifth year now? Only, I was thinking that your time is coming up to be tapped for the St M's auxiliary! Not 'til sixth year, though.
The Frost Faire looks to be well amazing this year, if the mags can be believed. Did you read Witch Weekly's interview with Nicola Burdett-Coutts? She and Gabriel have worked all year planning how to recreate Londinium. I think it's going to be utterly amazing.
Ned and I are thinking it might be best if we waited for the end of the summer--for a number of reasons, really, but one of those is my programme's schedule. When we decide the date, Papa intends to give a proper engagement party to announce it, so you'll read about it when that happens.
