Well, one thing I'll say about the magazines is that there's loads and loads of traffic on the journals and even though usually by the time something makes it into Whirl or Night Owl or one of those, it's old news, at least they usually do a fairly good job of figuring out what's a real story and what's just unfounded rumours. Dish! is usually full of rubbishy rumours but that's part of what's fun about it, because it's so ridiculous--most of the time.
Anyway, my mum says that it's easy to pay attention to what they're saying if it's nice, and hard not to pay attention when it's nasty. But it's better to take it all with a healthy dose of skepticism, either way.
(Although...it was perfectly fair of them to put Ron Weasley in the 'Worst Dressed' category, don't you think? Even if it was perfectly horrid to put Seamus in there after what Weasley did to his robes halfway through the ball.)
